BABY BELUGA

In 1999 Marc Pallanes was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfill a dream of his and opened the original Baby Beluga which was located near Tucson International Airport. On Valencia near Tucson Blvd. 

The original Baby Beluga had received raving reviews. One critic stated "I'm not even finished with this meal, and I'm already looking forward to my next meal here." Another states "Baby Beluga serves some of the best food in town, at some of the best prices." "Whether or not you're traveling, put it on your list. Baby Beluga is not to be missed."

With the aftermath of 9/11 Baby Beluga was hit and Marc turned to 3 Wheeling Pizza. Eventually that closed as well and Marc relocated his restaurant. 

 

Again given the opportunity of a life time in 2019 Marc was able to reopen Baby Beluga, now partnered with his long time girlfriend Teresa Koch, in its current location in the Tucson Estates area. It was Snow Bird Season and Baby Beluga was off with a BANG! 

In March on 2020 everywhere was rocked with the effects from the pandemic. Baby Beluga used this time to help out their community with free food boxes and offering home made soups. Baby Beluga is still standing in 2022 growing and still reaching out to their community.

Marc chose the name Baby Beluga from the nursery rhyme which was the favorite to his eldest daughter.
